The Glenlivet JazzTown will once again offer a world class live Jazz entertainment experience. Featuring Mzansi’s most loved eclectic Jazz Musicians live on stage! This will be coupled with a selection of vibrant DJ acts later in the evening.

Judith Sephuma

Born in Seshego, Judith was raised in Polokwane, Limpopo, and moved to Cape Town in 1994 to study as a jazz vocalist.In 1997, she graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Performer’s Diploma in Jazz and went on to further study. In 1999, she won the “Best Jazz Vocalist” at the Old Mutual Jazz Into The Future competition and now Judith will be here to perform us in the Glenlivet Jazztown on the 2nd July 2022!

Mandisi Dyantyis

Mandisi Dyantyis is a vocalist, trumpeteer and musical director known for his versatility in Jazz, Western Classical and African indigenous music, as well as his ability as a raconteur. Now based in Cape Town, Dyantyis was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, where he began learning to play the trumpet at the age of 8. He will be bringing that considerable talent to bare on the Jazztown stage for us this year!

Mlindo the Vocalist

Lindokuhle Mgedeza, known professionally as Mlindo the Vocalist, is a South African singer and songwriter. He initially gained notable recognition following his debut single, “Amablesser”, taken from his debut album, Emakhaya. Mlindo received three nominations at the 25th edition of the South African Music Awards for Best Newcomer of the Year, Best Produced Album, and Best Afro Pop Album after the album was certified platinum by RiSA and received around 45 million streams nationally as of May 2019.

pH, born Gift Nkuna, has been in the music industry for over a decade and has worked with massive local acts. pH has been instrumental in the careers of many high-profile South African musicians and now, it’s his time to shine.

DJ Stokie

Multiple Award Winning South Africa artist, DJ Stokie is often credited as one of the first deejays to play and popularise amapiano in Soweto back in the popular genre’s burgeoning days. Affectionately known as the “Kasi (township) Hero”, DJ Stokie is mostly known for his songs “Dlala Stokie”, “Amainternational”, “Ipiano e’Soweto” and “Superman”. The latter has reached over two million views on YouTube.

Khanya Siyengo AKA Kyeezi AKA The Tall Wonder, is a multifaceted South African creative who exudes urban culture. Playing both the BOOMTOWN stage, he will be equally at home on The Jazztown stage!
